Dear King Chamber of Commerce Members,
As we stride into 2024, I am honored to continue serving as your President. It is a privilege to lead such a dynamic and vibrant organization, and I am eager to build upon the successes of the past year.
First and foremost, I extend a warm welcome back to all returning members of the Board. Your steadfast dedication to the Chamber’s mission is commendable, and I am grateful for your continued service. Additionally, I am thrilled to welcome our newly elected Board Directors who have graciously volunteered their time to advance our goals and objectives. Their fresh perspectives and energy will undoubtedly invigorate our endeavors, and I express gratitude to each of our five newly elected board members for their commitment to contributing to our Chamber’s mission.
I also want to extend my deepest appreciation to all our members who play a pivotal role in driving the success of our Chamber. Over the past year, we have witnessed remarkable growth in memberships, sponsorships, and event attendance, a testament to the dedication and support of our community.
This year, the Chamber has embarked on several new initiatives, including the launch of King Proud and the Morning Youth Grant, The King Township Coupon Booklet, and the introduction of the 2024 Sponsorship Package. We have also formed a new Villages Cores Sub-Committee and introduced the Chamber Ambassador Program. Additionally, we are thrilled to announce the addition of another annual event, Gran Fondo King, to our calendar.
I am pleased to report that our events have experienced tremendous growth, with the AGM and Annual Mayors Luncheon seeing a remarkable increase in attendance. Furthermore, the Chamber is actively participating in various King Township events, including Nobleton Victoria Day, King Drink and Food Fest, and the Annual Mayors Golf Tournament. Be sure to visit our booth at these events to grab some King Proud merchandise and learn about exclusive discounted rates on new membership sign-ups.
