President
With more than 3 decades dedicated to nursing, Michelle has honed her expertise in family medicine, palliative care, women's health, & community nursing. In 2013, she established Hospall Private Homecare, extending her commitment to providing compassionate support. Beyond her professional endeavors, Michelle generously volunteers at the King City Food Bank and The Lions Club, while also actively participating in various healthcare associations. Since 2021, she has played a pivotal role on the Executive Board of the King Chamber of Commerce and was voted into the Presidents role in 2023.

Ryan Raymond
Vice President
Ryan and his family have lived in King since 2010. He is the owner of SURGE Activewear, which produces custom running gear for all walks of life – from your local track club to nationally recognized marathons & internationally competitive teams. SURGE focuses on performance – with designed lightweight fabrics, engineered details, & custom digital sublimation prints resulting in unique looking team wear that will get you noticed on & off the track.
Ryan is excited to grow the King Chamber Membership as Chair of the Membership Committee and continue to support local business.

David Magahey, a seasoned financial executive with over 30 years of experience, is a valued member of the King Chamber of Commerce. As founder of FourCourt Advisors, he specializes in developing growth strategies for companies and leveraging government support programs. With expertise in financial management and market development, David is dedicated to empowering local businesses to thrive, aligning perfectly with the Chamber's mission.

Savita Despot
Secretary
Savita Despot is a committed King Township resident who brings over 18 years of experience from TD Bank Group, managing crucial regulatory consulting and negotiating significant contracts. She co-founded The Blue Marble Academy, emphasizing tutoring and ESG consulting. As a member of the King Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Savita aims to strengthen local businesses and promote educational initiatives, with a special emphasis on nurturing future leaders.

Bryce Baker
Director
Bryce and his family have lived, worked and played in King for almost 25 years. In addition to helping start and run Grackle Coffee, a Schomberg landmark, he has degree in Urban Planning, a Masters in Project Management, and has owned and operated his own consulting company for 20+ years. Bryce will apply both his planning background and a practical, solution based methodology at both the detailed and overview levels to support and grow the businesses and the community in King Township.

Director
President and CEO of Unlimited HRM Solutions Inc. is an experienced HR Executive leader with over 15 years of practice across various industries. She prioritizes team development and effective HR strategies, driving businesses towards success. Passionate about community building and supporting small and medium-sized businesses, she actively engages in philanthropic activities. Proudly residing in King City since 2013, she became a member of the King Chamber of Commerce in 2020.

Gus Kokkoros
Director
Voted VP in March 2023, Gus is also the founder and developer of Icarus Power Generation Inc., bringing over 25 years of experience in renewable energy. His expertise in sustainable energy solutions aligns with King Township's goals of environmental protection and education. As Chair of our newest event, Gran Fondo King, Gus promotes community engagement through this cycling event that routes through the scenic roads of King Township, concluding with a lunch featuring local food and vendors.

Angelo Santorelli, a long-time resident of King Township, is the President of Trisan Construction in Schomberg. His company, honored with the Excellence in Large Business award by the King Chamber of Commerce in 2017, contributes to the local community and provides opportunities in the construction industry. Angelo's involvement extends to serving on the Township’s Sustainability Advisory Committee and the Toronto Area Road Builders Association board.

Stephanie, a seasoned real estate broker with over 20 years of experience, is deeply committed to both her profession and community engagement. Based in King City, she actively gives back to the communities she serves and is involved in various boards and committees, including the Royal Canadian Legion. As a Director, Stephanie brings her experience and fresh ideas to enhance commerce in King Township.

Darryn Wilbur
Director
Darryn and his family have lived in King since 2008. He opened Leading Edge Motor Cars 25 years ago and has been running it ever since. He acquired and merged Leading Edge with Total Mechanical Services in 2021, both businesses are currently located in Orangeville. Darryn is excited to be moving both businesses to King township in 2025/2026. His passion for the community and excitement to bring more businesses to King led him to join the board of directors in 2021.

Jay is the President of Kinghaven Farms, a family business renowned for its legacy in Ontario Horse Racing since 1974. Under his leadership, the farm has diversified into renewable energy, apiculture, egg farming, woodlot management, and more. Jay's passion for beekeeping, which began in 2012, has evolved into an integral part of the farm's vision for sustainable land stewardship.

Mercedes Lato
Member Services Manager
Mercedes is KCC's first full-time permanent employee. Starting in 2023, she plays a key role in supporting the overall operations of the Chamber. With strong expertise in event management, social media, marketing, and digital design, Mercedes brings valuable skills to the team. In addition, she continues her work with the Township of King in Economic Development as a contractor. A lifelong resident of King Township, she is dedicated to the growth and success of her community.
